Vigil held in downtown Orillia for victims of 'genocide' (9 photos)

The gathering organized by Simcoe County 4 Palestine brought a police presence to downtown Orillia on Monday night

On Monday evening, a small, solemn gathering took place in downtown Orillia to mark the International Day to Commemorate the Victims of Genocide and the prevention of such crime. 

Around 15 attendees, including local healthcare workers and organizers of Simcoe County 4 Palestine, came together in front of the Orillia Opera House to honour the memory of genocide victims.
