Weather advisory continued weather advisory for:

  •    Midland - Coldwater - Orr Lake
  •    Orillia - Lagoon City - Washago
  •    Bracebridge - Gravenhurst

Current details:
Winter weather travel advisory in effect for today and tonight.

Hazards:
Snow with accumulations of 5 to 10 cm.
Reduced visibility at times in heavy snow.

Timing:
This morning through this evening.

Discussion:
A low pressure system will bring snow to the area beginning this morning. The snow is expected to taper off tonight.

Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly.

Slow down driving in slippery conditions. Watch for taillights ahead and maintain a safe following distance. If visibility is reduced while driving, turn on your lights and maintain a safe following distance.
