Weather advisory issued for:

  •    Midland - Coldwater - Orr Lake
  •    Orillia - Lagoon City - Washago
  •    Bracebridge - Gravenhurst

Current details:
Winter weather travel advisory in effect.

What:
Local snowfall amounts up to 5 cm.
Poor visibility in areas of heavy snow and local blowing snow.

When:
Continuing through this morning.

Additional information:
Conditions will improve later this morning with the passage of a cold front as winds become more northwesterly.

Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly.

Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions. If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.
