The Orillia Terriers U11 A hockey team, sponsored by Burton Team of Planning Counsel, captured their division crown at the recent Jim Wilson Orillia Classic.
The 2022-23 hockey season is off to a great start for the U11 A Terriers who managed to keep the Jim Wilson title on home soil this past weekend by winning their division with a 5-0-0 record for the tournament. The team managed to score a staggering 68 goals across their five games played and only had three goals scored against them during the three-day tournament.
Team members include Bennett Hamilton, Lachlan McLean, Caeden Burnet-Greene, Harrison Dean, Nixon Fraser, Cohen Drumm, Owen Cheslock, Alex Turner, Tyler Ericson, Jimmy Ray Roberts, Lachlan Cook, Lucas Shaw, Jack Ashcroft, Evan McQuaid and goalies Caden Dixon and Ben Gasc.
A big thanks goes out to the team's coaching staff: Derek Dean, Tony McQuaid, Chris Drumm and Landon Kerr. They can't wait to see what the rest of the season will bring.
