The Orillia Lawn Bowling Club celebrated Canada Day with a fun tournament sponsored by Fran Woodhurst Painting.
Local bowlers got together at the Commerce Road greens for a fun day of lawn bowling with a hint of competition. A delicious meal with dessert topped off the day.
The excitement continued right to the end with the first place winners decided by a playoff end.
The results are as follows:
First place: The team of Pauline Stewart, Stephen Collins and Tony Laberge.
Second place: The team of Jim Hoover, Trude Haertel and Paul Kane.
Third place: The team of Greg Irvine, Merry Lynn Fleming and Paul Stewart.
