Skater of the month
Kylie White is a 13-year-old skater who loves to skate. She is a very dedicated and hard working young lady. She is currently working on her Gold skills, Jr. Silver freeskate and Sr. Silver dances. She also enjoys reading, scrapbooking, bike riding, running and swimming. Kylie is taught by Susan Scott, Erin Shaw and Laura Csumrik.

Programs
The Orillia Figure Skating club offers Star Skate (bronze/silver/gold sessions).
The Orillia Figure Skating Club offers the following programs at Rotary Arena and Brian Orser Arena on Mondays and Wednesday evenings beginning Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019
PreCan: For children 3 to 5 years of age as of Dec. 31. This learn to skate program teaches children how to stand up, move forward and change directions. A one-to-two ratio is provided to skaters until they are able to skate on their own.
CanSkate: This learn to skate program incorporates fun with the basics of skating. Skaters receive ribbons and badges for each of the 6 stages completed.
PrePower: This program runs along side CanSkate sessions and teaches the core power skating skills (agility, endurance, and speed) needed for hockey. PrePower ribbons are rewarded to skaters who complete each level.

Coming Soon: Gas for a Year
Purchase tickets to win free gas for a year. Tickets will be available soon in October 2019, please ask Star Skater families. The draw will take place on Dec. 19, 2019. Stay tuned for details.
