ORILLIA FIGURE SKATING CLUB

October Skater of the Month
Sloane Trainor is 10 years old and skates on the Silver session at the Orillia Figure Skating Club. She is working on her Star 6 skills, her Star 3 freeskate and her TenFox.
Sloane is part of the club’s Enhancement Team and is coached by Tracey Zwiers.
November Skater of the Month
Taylor Shaw skates on our Gold session and competes at level 5 freeskate, level 5 solo dance and Gold artistic for Special Olympics.
She has passed her Junior Silver Skills, her Star 5 freeskate and Gold artistic tests. Taylor is coached by Tracey Zwiers. When Taylor is not skating, she enjoys making cards for all special occasions and holidays.

“Gas for a Year” fundraising
Purchase tickets for $20 to win free gas for a year, valued at $2,600. Tickets are available now from any Star Skater families or contact Heather at [email protected] or you can buy tickets at Thai Plate restaurant. The draw will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 15 at 6:30 p.m. at Rotary Place and will be live-streamed on our Facebook page.

Halloween Skate-a-thon
