James Pritchard had stellar game in Royals' 7-0 win over Cardinals

The Wes Brennan Construction Orillia Jr. Royals shut out the Innisfil Cardinals on Thursday night at Udell 7-0 to leap-frog the Innisfil squad and land in third place in the North Dufferin Baseball League.

Orillia starter James Pritchard went six innings scattering four hits and striking out seven in his best start of the year so far. Emmit Macdonald came on for the save while the Orillia defence was stellar with zero errors on the evening.

The offence was solid with hits from Teddy Mcollum-Kuntz (two), Nolan Ness-Thomas (two), Nolan MacNeal (two), Jhett Winkel (two), Whyatt Winkel (two), Will Timpano, Nathan Molloy, Andrew Browne and Pritchard.

The win vaults the Royals to third place. Their next game is Sunday in Orangeville and the next home game is Thursday at 8 p.m. versus the Mansfield Cubs.
