ORILLIA LAWN BOWLING CLUB

The heat didn't deter four local Probus Clubs, who met on Thursday to battle it out in the First Annual Probus Clubs Lawn Bowling Challenge Tournament. The event, hosted by the Orillia Lawn Bowling Club, was the first of its kind, bringing all four clubs together.
Lake Country, Mariposa, Orillia, and Twin Lakes Probus Clubs fielded a total of 12 teams to vie for the title. The Probus Club of Orillia came out with top honours at the end of the day, claiming the Challenge Cup with teams also placing second and third. Twin Lakes took the consolation prize and everyone else had a great time!
It was a terrific day of fun, fellowship and friendly competition, and the festivities wound up just in time to miss the storm!
