Orillia Terriers' forward Caden Carroll scored once and added two assists to help Orillia dominate Midland in recent action. On Saturday, the Terriers host Alliston in a 7:30 p.m. contest at Rotary Place that features a matchup of the league's top two teams.

The incredible season for the McLean and Dickey Orillia Terriers continues, as the local Provincial Junior Hockey League team won both of their games this past week.

On Saturday night, the Terriers skated to a dominant 5-0 win over the Midland Flyers at Rotary Place in west Orillia. The home side scored a goal in each of the first two periods, before tallying three goals in the third period to earn the victory.

Scoring for Orillia were Jordon Fuller, Caden Carroll, Colton Dumond, Tyler Kelly and Devon Edmonds. Nathan Hunter picked up the shutout. Carroll was named the game's first star for his effort that included a goal and two assists.

On Sunday in Huntsville, in a tight checking game, the Terriers prevailed 4-1. The visitors got a goal by Jordon Fuller to lead 1-0 after the first period.

Brenner Boddy got the only goal of the second period as the Dogs held a two-goal lead after two periods. In the third period, Caleb Tiffin- Seminara gave the visitors a three-goal lead early in the third. Huntsville got a goal to get back in the third, but that was as close as they would come as Jordon Fuller added an empty netter for a 4-1 victory. Aiden Jerry was in net for the victory.

The Terriers record now stands at 27-3-1, good for second place ahead of Stayner, but behind Alliston who is in first place with an almost perfect record; they have suffered an overtime loss this year and won every other single game they've played.

Orillia has two big games this week: in Stayner on Thursday, before hosting Alliston at home on Saturday at Rotary Place. This game features two of the league's premier teams in what should be an intense battle. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
