(May 12, 1934 – July 27, 2018) - Born in Muskoka, Rosemarie was a medical professional her entire life. Trained as a Medical Laboratory Technician at St. Joseph’s hospital her career began before her children arrived. Over the years, she gained more knowledge and training and her final job was as the Director of the Putnam County Blood bank in Florida. Mom met a slightly injured but very handsome island boy at St. Joseph’s Hospital – from Malta. He became her husband in May 1955. Within 10 years, they became parents to 5 children, bought a farm in Orillia township and Dad started his first business as Hollywood Trading Post while Mom stayed home and farmed and raised her children. By the time the youngest was in school it was back to work at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital in the lab for many years and eventually they moved to Florida for about a ten year period. Rosemarie is predeceased by her husband Joseph Agius and her oldest son Tony Agius, survived by daughter’s Carmen Novosky (John) and Mona Agius, son’s Nick (Heather) Agius and Chris Agius. Beloved Grama Rose to 9 Grandchildren: Adam(Julie) Westland, Cameron (Crystal) Westland, Rachel (Jesse)Slaughter, Celia (Kane) LaFranchise, Sarah Agius, Allan Holt, Madi Agius, Amber Blair, Mitch Hart – and – Great Grama to Gloria Rose Carbino, Coco and Frances Westland. Survived by sister’s Anne Fenn and Marg Fenn and Brother Joseph Fenn and (Pre-deceased) by her parents - Sally and Naish Fenn, plus many loving nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia, (705) 326-3595 on Friday August 3, 2018 from 11 o’clock until time of funeral service at 1 o’clock. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
