At the age of 16, formerly of Orillia suddenly passed away from a tragic car accident Thursday, July 26, 2018. Nelson was an inexplicably talented young, growing artist who was in the midst of finishing his first full album. He was a local supporter for the music scene; as well as the local youth centre, where he performed his very first show. Nelson was an incredible, loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, cousin and friend. Predeceased by his grandfather, Floyd Elwood Matthias; his grandparents, David Bell and Mary Ann (nee) Cook Bell; his cousin, Sidney Patrick Mathias, and his uncle, Darcy Osbourne. He is survived by his parents, Darryl & Carla Bell (nee Matthias); sister, Leticia Stagg; 3 brothers, Cory Matthias, Stephen Stagg, and Tyler Bell; grandmother Thelma Eileen Matthia; niece, Lark Stagg, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Nelson will be sadly missed by many friends and family. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 3 - 5 & 7 - 9 p.m. at the Mundell Funeral Home. A Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, August 2nd, 2018 at 1 p.m. with a reception to follow.
