It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of John Beverly Bertram at Matthews House Hospice in Alliston.
John is survived by his wife of 59 Years Joan (Steedman), his devoted children Jeff (Fiona) and Jennifer (Agnaldo Quintela) his cherished grandchildren Chiara and Luca Quintela and Emily and Ben Bertram. He is survived by his sisters Edna Caldwell and Carol Bertram (Mary Jane). He is predeceased by his brother Harold (Velma).
John was born in Oakville and moved with his family to Oro when he was 5yrs old. John graduated from the University of Guelph and taught Science for 30 years at Banting Memorial High School. John was a proud Rotarian and Church goer.
Visitation will be held at Trinity Centennial United Church, Rosemont from 1 to 2pm on Saturday September 28, 2024 with service to follow at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Matthews House Hospice or Trinity United Church in Rosemont.
