"The legend," "Robert," "Bob," "Bobby-B," but most importantly, "Dad," was born on December 7th, 1942, in Lindsay, Ontario. Dad passed away peacefully on March 14th, with his children by his side. He is survived by his brother, Ron Brasier, his five children, Ian (Amandine), Eric (Jessica), Nadine (Guillaume), Tricia (Chris), Susan (Cam), his 12 wonderful grandchildren, and many loyal friends and extended family members. He is predeceased by his parents Frank and Elsie.

Dad instilled in us the value of resourcefulness. He adored Christmas and instead of splurging on expensive Christmas lights, he ingeniously repurposed meat pie tins, fastening them behind the lights to create the most remarkable Christmas displays anyone had ever seen.

He lived by the philosophy that tasks should be done right or not at all, seizing every opportunity to teach us essential skills like changing a tire, stacking dishes, removing dents from the car, or mastering the art of catching a fastball. Above all, Dad cherished family. He devoted much of his time to engaging with his children, and proudly recounting their achievements and escapades to anyone who would lend an ear.

Dad was not only a teacher and mentor but also a captivating storyteller and a cherished confidant. He will forever remain in our hearts as a beacon of wisdom, love, and unwavering support. Our beloved Dad has been cremated, and we will be holding a private celebration of his life at Riverside Cemetery in Lindsay, Ontario. Arrangements entrusted to Burke Funeral Home, Belleville.
