January 30, 1931 - May 7, 2018. Peacefully at sunset in the company of her children as they told stories of their wonderful childhood. She will be dearly missed by her children, Anne, Jamie (and Kim) and Katie, her grandchildren Kathleen, Owen and Darcy, her siblings Elaine, Carol, David (and Barbara), and Jack and many nieces and nephews. She is joyfully reunited with her beloved son David and brother George. Pat was a life long learner, passionate teacher and story teller, who shared her love of books and the arts. She fostered artistic expression in others, especially her children and took great delight in their creativity. She touched the lives of her students, many of whom remained close friends through her entire life. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 12 at 2 p.m. at 136 Darlington Private - Ottawa (in the recreation centre).
