It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our dear Wendy Elizabeth Capiato (Slessor) on March 9, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family when she lost her battle with lung cancer at the Royal Victoria Health Centre in Barrie. She was 73 years old.
Wendy leaves behind her husband Dan Capiato, her children Sandy and Kristopher (Ashley), and her grandchildren Darius, Madelyn, and Decklan Capiato. She was also a sister-in-law to Julie and Roman Muetz, Gayle and Bob George, and Aunt to Lisa Sander. Wendy was pre-deceased by her parents Jack and Ruth Slessor, her brother Paris Slessor, and her sister Judy Bossert (Ron). Wendy was a kind and generous person who touched many lives with her positive spirit. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
