June 20, 1948 - September 2, 2024

Margo Jo-Anne Clarke, nee McClellan of Beaverton Ontario passed away at home at the  age of 76 on Monday September 2nd 2024 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Margo was surrounded by family at the time of her passing. She is predeceased by her husband Glen Clarke, her Father Fred McClellan, Mother Ellen Lennox, Step Father Alvin Lennox and her sister Carol Mansley.

Margo leaves behind her children Jennifer, Andrew and Stephanie and her siblings Michael (Arley)  and Julie (Walter) . Missed by her Grandchildren Laura (Nick) Sarah (Kevin) Sam, Taylor (Paul) Christian and Averee and her beloved Great Grandchildren Benjamin and Cameron who brought great joy to her life. Margo also leaves behind her nieces and nephews as well as her life-long friend Joanne. Missing Margo is her very special fur baby companion, Oscar.

Margo took great joy in being the family historian, she spent countless hours researching our family history and also helping others with their family history.  Margo loved her antiques and spent many years finding gems and making it a business to sell very successfully on her eBay shop. Margo loved spending time with her grandchildren and they especially loved spending time with their Gramma and experiencing many adventures at her log home in their younger years, and loved listening to her stories as they grew older. They will miss her very dearly.

Margo spent the last few years  caring for three feral cats on her property. She had great compassion for all things. We will miss her wit, her kindness and most of all her love. We know that she is without pain now and that she is surrounded by all of those who passed before her. Visitation will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church on Friday September 13th from 12 noon until time of memorial service at 1 P.M. In Lieu of flowers it was Margo’s wish that donations be made to Barn Cat Co-op Uxbridge. Donations will be accepted by e-transfer [email protected] or by cheque through Mangan Funeral Home.
