DMitro ( Metro ) Demcheson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of DMitro (Metro) Demcheson, Husband of Gisele (nee Deslaunais) Predeceased. Father of Gordon (Rita), Gail Fry Predeceased, Carol Dunkley, Susan (Mike) Brown. Grandfather ( Pepere ) to Matthew (Becky) and Steven Demcheson, Michael (Marcia) Dunkley, Cassandra Predeceased and Shana Levesque. Great Grandfather to Riley and Emma Demcheson, Serena and Sophie Dunkley, Seth Berg, Noah and Owen Levesque.
Metro was born in Mossey River Manitoba. He worked different jobs until he started working for Canadian National Railway in 1947. He worked his way Eastward in Ontario as an Operator where he ended up working in Brent in the North End of Algonquin Park in 1952. He worked for 36 years with CNR before retiring in 1983. He was an avid fisherman, making an appearance in Outdoor Life Magazine in 1954. But his passion was woodworking, especially making Intarsias.
He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends. At Metro's request there will be a private cremation and internment. Arrangements entrusted to the Mundell Funeral Home, Orillia.
