In deepest sadness, we regret to report the passing of Valarie May Etmannski (Lowndes) on March 22, 2024 at her home in Calgary, Alberta, formerly of Orillia, at the age of 63. Daughter of Jim and Bernice Lowndes of Bass Lake, Sister to Lawrence and his wife Shaheen of Milton and mother to Jay, Chris and Jill (deceased) of Calgary. She has two grandsons, Caleb and Rylan, whom she was very proud of. She also leaves many nieces and nephew, Sandra Wilson, Chey Duptuck, Jim and Don Cameron of Vancouver Island, to name a few.
Val had many loves and skills, but her favorites where knitting and animals of all kinds.
There will be a gathering of family for a viewing, followed by cremation.
She will be missed by all.
