Cody Thomas Flint, 31, passed away in his home in Orillia, Ontario, on November 25, 2024. Cody was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, at the Grace Maternity Hospital on May 6, 1993. He grew up between Ontario and his family's hometown of New Waterford, Nova Scotia, and Spryfield, Nova Scotia, before moving to Barrie in his early 20s to work with his brother building houses and to be closer to his family.
Cody's love and loyalty to his friends and family were unmatched. He was a very proud uncle to many nieces and nephews, easily earning the title of "favorite uncle ever," a badge of honor he wore with pride.
Cody is predeceased by his beloved nephew, Tyler Michael. He is survived by his loving mother, Susan Flint; brothers Billy (Natalie), John Michael (Alora), and sister Maggie. Cody’s nieces and nephews—Kaylynn, Madeline, Abigail, Nathan, Sadie, Laila, Sienna, Ella, Nevaeh, Malakai, and Jaxon—will forever cherish his memory. Also mourning the loss of such a beautiful soul is Cody’s best friend and the love of his life, Hannah Power.
To Cody,
You were, and still are, loved and admired more than you ever knew or could fully understand. The world would be a much better place if everyone had the same values, morals, and loyalty to their family and friends as you did. Now, the world is a much lesser place because you're no longer here.
We will keep your memory alive with the many stories you’ve left for us to share. We will laugh, we will cry, but we will never forget. Your beloved dog Liliana will be spoiled until the day she joins you, wherever you are.
Cody, we LOVE you, we MISS you, we MOURN you. But most importantly, we take comfort in knowing that you are no longer in pain. Fly high, Cody Thomas. We are honoured to have had you in our lives, even for such a short time. You made an incredible impact on everyone you loved, and we will be forever grateful for that.
We will see you on the other side. We Love You!
