FOSTER, Kenneth Norman

It is with great sadness that the family of Ken Foster announce on May 7, 2020 he peacefully passed away at the Leacock Care Centre in his 99th year.
Ken had a full and happy life and he always had something interesting on the go. This included building and renovating houses, sailing, playing cards or working on his hobbies and travelling with his wife Marion.  He enjoyed his daily walks, the secret to his long life, according to him.
Beloved husband of the late Muriel (nee Kellough) 1962 and the late Marion (nee Routley) 2011.  Father of Elizabeth Penttinen (Stan) and Kim Roberts (Richard). Step-father of 56 years to Tom Routley ( Barbara, predeceased), Karen Anderson (Wayne) and Susan Rumble (Bill).
He leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brothers, George, Ernie and Ron. In keeping with Ken’s wishes, cremation has taken place and he will be interred at Glendale Memorial Gardens, Toronto.
We would like to thank the staff at Leacock Care Centre in Orillia for the outstanding care and support they provided our dad over the many years he was a resident there.
A special thank you to Mary Hiley for spending so much time with our dad. He really looked forward to their walks and time together especially the milkshakes and Kit Kat bars.
