FOX, Joan (nee Garvey)

(Retired Registered Nurse) - Peacefully at home, Orillia, on Saturday, June 23rd, 2018, at the age of 67 years.  Joan Fox, beloved wife of Michael Fox for 35 years.  Loving mother of Lindsay Fox, Sean Fox, Vanessa Fox all of Orillia.  Dear sister of Mary (Kent) Killen of Ennismore, Dan (Kathy) Garvey of Newcastle, Helen (Mac) English of Indian River, Adele Kelly of Peterborough, Mike (Suzanne predeceased) Garvey of Lindsay, Dorothy Lefley of Ottawa, Doreen Brown of Bowmanville, Ann (partner Doug) Brown of Peterborough, Chris (Suzanne) Garvey and Clem (Janice) Garvey all of Bowmanville.  Joan will be lovingly remembered by all her extended Fox family.  A very special thank you to Sandy McFadden and all the Staff of Bayshore Nursing & Soldiers' Oncology Dept. for their support.  Cremation has taken place.   Relatives and friends are invited to meet the family at the Mundell Funeral Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia on Wednesday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm.  Then to the Church of the Guardian Angels, 115 West St., N., Orillia for Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, June 28th, 2018 at 2 pm.  Reception to follow.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.  Parish Prayers to be said in the Parlours Wednesday evening at 6:45 pm.
