Passed peacefully at Champlain Manor in Orillia on Friday October 4, 2024 at the age of 100 years. Ella is the beloved wife of the late Earl Horne. Ella will be sadly missed by her son Paul and wife Diane, by her grandchildren Brent (Fotoula) and Andrea (Andrew) and by her great grandchildren Camilla and Thomas. Ella is predeceased by her siblings Jean Roehl, Verna McPhee, Ruby Greenwell, Frances MacDougall, Myrtle Clarke (Moore), Lena Mosher and Earl Roehl as well as her brother-in-laws Robert Horne and Ross Horne. Survived by sister-in-law Edith Horne. She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A private family graveside service will take place at Esson Cemetery, Oro-Medonte. If desired, memorial donations to the Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
