IVAN, Joseph Rudolph

Having lived a life filled with joy, helping others, storytelling and adventures near and far, Joe died at Spencer House in Orillia, on Tuesday, September 28, 2022 in his 87th year. Previously deceased by his best friend and dance partner of 54 years, Corrine, his memory will be carried by his son Wade and wife Mirjana and grandchildren Alex and Simona of Toronto, who will grow up reminded of Joe’s humanity, charity and generosity. Born in Estevan, SK and one of seven children, Joe will be sadly missed by sister Linda Hing of Hawaii, many nieces, nephews and extended family, and many friends made over the years across the country. His family invites family and friends to celebrate his life at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N, Orillia on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service in the chapel at 12 o'clock. Interment to follow at St. Andrew's - St. James' Cemetery, Orillia. Special gratitude to Sarah and Jasmine at Spencer House, and to the PSWs, nurses, doctors and staff who cared for and supported Joe.
