Was called home by his Lord and Savior at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Wednesday January 22nd, 2025, at the age of 84. Born in Baysville Ontario, predeceased by his parents Francis and Lily Judd. Beloved husband of Lois (nee Slessor) for 60 wonderful years.
Loving father of Luanne Hodgkinson (Donald), Shannon Beelik (Chris), and Erin Reid (Matthew).
Cherished grandfather to Kyla (Dakota), Taylor (Sabreena) and Bailey Hodgkinson, Jordyn and Jakob Beelik, Eden and Zion Reid.
Great grandpa “J” of Brielle and Daxton Hodgkinson-Armstrong.
Dear brother-in-law of Blair Slessor (Sue) and uncle to Katelyn, Montanna and Dawson.
Beloved brother to George Alsop, Eileen Chenard, Lorraine Gilchrist, and Phyllis South (all predeceased).
Cliff will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Cliff loved his family beyond words and was deeply devoted to his faith. A lifelong farmer, he found joy in the land and a sense of purpose in cultivating it. Known for his generosity, kindness, and willingness to help anyone in need, he left an indelible mark on the lives of those who were blessed to know him.
Cliff’s life was a testament to love, faith, and hard work, and his memory will be treasured by all.

A visitation will be held at Hillside Bible Chapel, 195 Atlantis Drive, Orillia on Saturday, February 1st, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until time for funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with reception to follow. Internment will take place at St. Andrew’s St. James’ Cemetery on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025, at 1:00 p.m.
