Eleanor Louise Layzell, born August 1, 1946, passed away peacefully February 8, 2025. Predeceased by the love of her life Frank Layzell in November 1984. Eleanor known by most as Ellie, gave endlessly to her family. Her love for her 3 sons Ted (June), Rick (Karen) & Rob was never ending and she boasted about ‘her 3 boys’ to all who would listen.
You would always see Ellie’s eyes light up when she spoke of her brothers Ray (deceased) and his wife Wendy, Bob (deceased), Ron and his wife Debbie.
What Ellie treasured most was her eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. The mountains of gifts each Christmas were all about making them smile. From Ted & June – Brad, Scott (great grandchildren Aaron & Rylie) Cole & Cody, from Rick – Laura & Steven & from Rob – Travis & Francis.
The family will be having a private period of reflection laying mom to rest beside her beloved Frank at the Glendale Cemetery. Details for a public Celebration of Life will be announced shortly.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the Alzheimer’s Society.
