LONG, Wayne Douglas

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Wayne Long, (76) at Royal Victoria Health in Barrie on October 26, 2022. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 52 years, Janice (nee Clarke), his children, Shane (Jane) of Parry Sound, Troy (Orillia), his adoring grandchildren, Lauren (20), Joshua (16) and Tyler (15), his sisters, Shirley Wismer (Ken) of Penetang, Sharon Anderson (pre deceased), Debbie Buckley Of Barrie, and Marlene (Blake) of Orillia. Predeceased by his parents, Orland and Laura (Denne). Sadly missed by nephews and one niece, great nieces and great nephews, cousins and many friends, neighbours and acquaintances from Ontario Hydro.

Wayne will be remembered for being even tempered, kind, and funny. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed kayaking and spending time with his grandchildren.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Sunday, November 27th between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm at Ramona Hall, 2212 Fairgrounds Road, Washago.
