Passed away peacefully in Orillia on Wednesday August 18, 2021 in his 86th year, after a lengthy battle with MS and cancer. Beloved husband of Dianne (nee Cox) for 63 years. Loving father of Stephen (Michelle), Judy (Jim) Thomson, Lynne (Darold) and David (Nela). Loving Papa of Delphine (Geoff), Johnathon (predeceased), Brodie Thomson (predeceased), Brett Thomson (Makella), Braydon and Cole. Dear brother of Jean Cote, Mel Mawdsley (Marie deceased), Shirley Gogal (Wendall), Jack Mawdsley (Marlene), Mary Cochrane (Earl), Ollie Henry (Jim), Dorothy Mc Ilravey (Chuck) and Norma Thor (Kris)(both predeceased). Glen will be remembered by friends, neighbours and cousins. Glen was raised on the family farm in Oro Township. He worked for Stewart Construction, Miller Paving and Bailey Service Equipment before starting his own crane business. Our father's strength, determination and courage will live in our hearts forever.
