With broken hearts we would like to announce the peaceful passing of Jeffrey McKim. Jeff passed away at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Wednesday July 10th, 2024, at the age of 56. Born in Toronto, dear son of Glen McKim and the late Barbara Stutz. Beloved husband of Shelley Markle for 20 years. Loving father of Calum McKim, stepfather of Kayla Greenhalgh (Chris), Chanse Greenhalgh (Laura) and chosen papa to Hailey, Ethan, Rory and Bella. Dear brother of Leslie Labbe (Tom), Laura McKim and Jennifer Ward (Mike) and uncle of Derrick, Lindsay, Paul, Liam, Luc and Wren. He will also be fondly remembered by stepfather Dave Hodder (Lucy) and sister by choice, Karen Kilpatrick.
Jeff will be dearly missed by his family and friends. A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home, 38 James Street E. Orillia on Saturday July 20th, 2024, from 1 p.m. until 3p.m.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the care team at Soldier Memorial Hospital IMRS 1 for all the care and compassion they offered during this difficult time.
