MOFFITT, Phyllis Marilyn

Phyllis Marilyn Moffitt entered peacefully into the presence of her Saviour on Sunday, May 9th, 2021 at the age of 82.  She will be dearly missed by her husband of 62 years, Bruce.  A devoted mother to Kim (Dean), Rod (Cynthia), and Stuart (Bonnie).  A loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren: Celeste (Daryl), Lucas (Elizabeth), Joel (Michelle), Anne (Matt), Emily and Julia (predeceased), Nancy (Jon), Jenny, Julie, Jessica (Alex) and Curtis.  Great Grandmother of Zephan, Zion, Zalia, Eli and Gabe.
Phyllis stayed home with her children, investing in their lives.  She gradually went back to work as secretary of the Stayner Missionary Church and Bethel Baptist Church, Orillia.  Phyllis remained active throughout her life walking, cross-country skiing, bike riding, line dancing and volunteering with the VON exercise program.  She was an avid knitter of socks and mittens each year for all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Phyllis faithfully prayed daily for every member of her family.  Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother, Phyllis will be greatly missed.  We praise the Lord for her life and influence.
Following cremation, a graveside service will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Orangeville.  In memory of Phyllis, donations would be appreciated to Gideons International and can be made through the Mundell Funeral Home (705)325-2231.
