Passed away at Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital on Tuesday July 24, 2018 at the age of 90. Walt, beloved husband for 62 years of Helen (nee: MacKinlay). Loving father of Ann Locke (John), Sandra Norman (Mark), Mary Ellen Stanley (Richard), Bruce Murray and Joan Train (predeceased) (Bob). Cherished grandfather of Kate (Scott), Jessica (Andrew), Matthew (Kelly), Joshua (Jacqueline), Madelein (Jay), Chloé (Calvin), Abbey, Emily (Jesse), William (Kayla), Malcolm, Allison (Scott), James, Tim (Erin), Leanne and Seth. Proud great grandfather of Ava, Claire, Hailey, Sarah, Grace, Sawyer, Lincoln, Elyse, Oliver, Helena, David, Felicity, Caroline and Harrison. Brother of the late Mildred, Helen, Margaret and Florence, Gordon, Alec, Scott and George. Following cremation, visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Thursday July 26, 2018 from 4 PM - 7 PM. Memorial Service will be held at Orillia Presbyterian Church (St. Andrew’s), 99 Peter St. N., Orillia on Friday July 27, 2018 at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital Foundation.
