It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our mom, Dianne Mary Ellen O’Donnell Brown, on Friday June 22nd at the young age of 66. Mom passed away with Geoff and Mary Ellen holding her hands and all her kids in her heart. The most amazing mother to her three children Geoff (Andrea), Mary Ellen, and Jamie (Julie). Mom also leaves behind the greatest joys of her life Shelby and Jed, Madelyn and Karsten, and Jackson and Brooklyn. Also survived by her brother Brian.
For 4 months and 27 days, Mom fought her rare cancer with everything she had, continuing to show us her strength, fierce spirit and resilience. Her greatest gift to us was her love that she gave unconditionally. Mom loved with everything she had, and we will continue to do that in her honour.
Visitation will be held at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Monday, June 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 28 at 11 a.m. at St. Columbkille Roman Catholic Church, 4993 Highway 12 South, Uptergrove. Interment to follow at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Brechin. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Margaret Bahen Hospice in Newmarket. We love you Mom, to the moon and back.
