At the Leacock Care Centre with family at her side on Tuesday July 10, 2018 in her 87th year. Mary Powers (nee Cleland) beloved wife of the late James Leslie (Jim) Powers. Loving mother of David (Isabelle), Lorna Powers and Bradley (Lorrilyn). Loving grandmother of Kevin (Elizabeth), Leanne (Andrew), Kaitlyn, Micaela, Braeden, and Brittany (Sarah). and great grandchildren Zachary, Alexis, Nathan and Carter. Dear sister of Granville Cleland- (predeceased), Robert Cleland, Kenneth Cleland- (predeceased), Phoebe LaHay, Thelma Dunn, Paul Cleland (Meena) and Elizabeth Clarke.
A service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held at the Simcoe Funeral Home 38 James Street E. Orillia on Saturday July 21, at 1 p.m. A reception and time of visitation will follow. Memorial donations to Project 321-Peel Down Syndrome Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
