It is with great sadness that the family of Joanne Elaine Talbot announces her untimely yet peaceful passing on July 18th, 2024, at the age of 80, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 23rd, 1944, Joanne was the only child of Douglas William Blackburn and Aileen Lorraine Blackburn (Rumney).
Joanne will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ronald James Talbot, her 2 sons, Deron James (Cheryl) and Kristopher Douglas (Eden), and 5 grandchildren (Justin, Maya, Amelie, Logan, & Dylan)
She will always be remembered as a consummate chef, avid baker, gamer, and someone who loved socializing with close friends and family. We will all cherish memories of her infectious laugh and beautiful smile.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug. 3rd from 1pm until 4pm with a funeral service commencing at 2:30pm at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West Street North, Orillia ON.
