Passed peacefully at home in Orillia on Tuesday November 16, 2021 in his 87th year. Beloved son of the Frank & Viola Walsh. Morris will be sadly missed by his siblings Helen (Bill) Anderson, Rosella (Harold) Derochie, and sister in law Phyllis Walsh; by his nieces and nephews Barb Doherty, Jim (Dee) Derochie, Peter (Lynda) Derochie, Kim (Chip) Green, Michelle Derochie, Cathy Walsh, Stephen (Janette) Walsh, John (Wanda) Walsh, Mark (Bridgette) Anderson, Michael (Gail) Anderson, David (Wendy) Anderson, and by many Great Nieces and Nephews. Morris is predeceased by his sibling Stanley Walsh and Bernard Walsh. The family will receive friends at the Doolittle Chapel of Carson Funeral Homes, 54 Coldwater St. E., Orillia (705) 326-3595 on Tuesday November 23, 2021 from 12 to 1:30 p.m.. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at the Church of the Guardian Angels (115 West Street N, Orillia) at 2 o’clock. The family is requesting that you show proof of vaccination for the visitation and the funeral mass and face masks are required. Burial to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
