Doris Anne Warner, age 86 years and wife of the late George Warner of Dauphin, MB, passed away peacefully at Ste. Rose Hospital on Nov. 24, 2022. Born on January 5, 1936 in Toronto, she was the loving mother of Jim Pratt of Dauphin and David Pratt of Orillia, Ontario
Doris loved singing, gardening, quilting, reading, the farm, and traveling with George as well as socializing with family and friends. Sadly, her health deteriorated greatly over the past six years since the death of her husband George.
Doris was predeceased by her previous husbands Gerald Pratt and Ron Nixon, her siblings Billy Harrison, May Grigg (Norm), James Harrison (Barbara), and Margaret Beatty (George), her nephew Brian Grigg, and her step-grandson Travis Gadzosa.
Left to mourn her passing are her sons, many nieces and nephews Bob Beatty (Annette), Carol Beatty (Maurice Richard), Donald Beatty (Tammy), Susan Ronan (Doug), Kate Grigg (Danny), and Kevin Grigg as well as her stepchildren David Warner (Margaret), Keith Warner (Maridee), and Betty Gadzosa. She was a dear step-grandma to Andrew Warner (Alisha), Ian Warner (Sheena), Jordan Warner (Jenna), Kalyn Suderman (Brett), Kathryn Warner (Paul Robidoux), Brittany Gadzosa, and Breanna Gadzosa as well as 11 step great grandchildren.
A special thank you to the wonderful staff at Happy Haven Supportive Housing and the Ste. Rose Hospital for the care that was given to Doris.
