I’m Errin Dickins, and I’m seeking the privilege of serving you, the residents and businesses of Ward 4 in Oro-Medonte as your voice at council. I grew up in the Warminster area and no matter where life has taken me I have always found my way home to Oro-Medonte.
I create the type of community I want to live in by being involved. My volunteer experience includes many years as a grief facilitator and events volunteer with Seasons Centre for Grieving Children. I enjoy volunteering at a variety of local charity events. I recently joined the Community Impact Council with United Way reviewing grant applications and making recommendations on funding. I hold an Honours Diploma in Business Administration and Small Business Management.
Serving on council is a great opportunity to help shape the community where I live, and build a strong community for future generations. When elected I will be committed to representing the best interests of the residents of Ward 4.
We live in a growing municipality, with our population anticipated to increase significantly in the next 12 years. In order to support this growth we will need a progressive and innovative council, dedicated to building a strong community with healthy infrastructure. I believe this includes encouraging business development, supporting new growth and development in the township and making smart choices with tax payers dollars.
My pledge to you, the electors, is that I will be available, responsive and transparent.
I will be committed to listen and always represent the voice of the majority of voters.
I am available for any questions and further discussion by email: [email protected] or by phone at 705-718-0205.
