It has been my pleasure to serve as Ward 2 Councillor in the Township of Oro-Medonte for the last four years. I am grateful that this position has allowed me to meet and work with so many great residents and businesses.
Once again, I am respectively seeking your support in the upcoming October Municipal Election as Oro-Medonte Ward 2 Councillor.
I have been very active in Ward 2 regularly attending community events and promoting parks and recreation, also spearheading a $20,000 private investment for the new sports pad at Warminster Park. In addition I serve as member of the Eady Community Hall Board.
I believe my experience provides the strongest and most capable representation for the residents of Ward 2:
- Experienced Oro-Medonte Councillor, former school board trustee, and active member of the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority Board of Directors.
- Chairman of the Oro–Medonte Accessibility Committee.
- Retired elementary school teacher from Simcoe County School Board.
- Vice Chairman of TAPMO (Top Aggregate Producing Municipalities of Ontario)
- Former chair of Oro-Medonte Committee of Adjustment
I support responsible, managed growth for Ward 2 and our township, with full consideration to both retaining our rural character and future economic opportunities. I believe in continued road improvements for Oro-Medonte, and prudent fiscal management of your tax dollars in order to achieve our goals.
