UPDATE: Intersection has reopened.

A crash has shut down a busy intersection in Orillia.
At about 2:30 p.m., OPP posted to Twitter that a two-vehicle collision had closed the intersection of Highway 12 and Monarch Drive.
A photographer on scene noted the crash occurred at Highway 12 and West Ridge Boulevard/Murphy Road.
There is no word on injuries, and OPP said it’s unknown when the intersection will reopen.
