Police are investigating a suspicious death at a home on Andrew Street South in Orillia.
Shortly after 11:30 p.m. Thursday, Orillia OPP responded to the residence and found one person dead.
The cause of death has not been confirmed, but police are asking area residents to report any suspicious activity to OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or by calling 911.
“The OPP reminds all members of the public to be always aware of their personal safety,” police said in a news release.
“The investigation is in its early stages and no further details can be released at this time. Residents of the area should expect to see a large police presence.”
