Members of Crime Unit attached to the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are pleased to advise that all of the stolen WW I and WW II Canadian Forces Service Medals have been located and returned to the relieved family of the rightful owners.
The owners were two members from the same Midland family who survived their conflicts in the great wars and have since passed away.
The surviving families of these servicemen are very pleased with the return of the medals and gratefully thank everyone who played a part in their return.
