Suspects dump gnomes, steal garbage bin from Gravenhurst business

Police say suspects stole several items, including flowers

Shortly before 11 a.m. Friday, police received reports of a theft of flowers and a garbage bin that happened overnight at a business on Bay Street, near Muskoka Road.

Surveillance footage showed two people entering the back of the property carrying a large bin. They dumped the contents of that bin on the ground, including gnomes, and stole several items, including flowers, Bracebridge OPP stated in a news release.

Police ask anyone with information, “either identifying the suspects or the gnomes,” to call OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Information can be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or crimestopperssdm.com.
