Ontario Provincial Police are investigating after an e-bike was stolen from the Orillia Recreation Centre.

The red Elite 3D-HD bike – valued at around $2,500 – had been locked up with a chain before it went missing on Oct. 16.

OPP believe the thief used bolt cutters to cut the chain.

The bolt cutters were left behind and police describe them as “unique.”

“Whoever they belong to would be missing them,” said OPP in a news release.

Anyone who had bolt cutters go missing around that time is asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
