Youth approached in 'aggressive manner' by man driving older car

Suspicious person complaint follows incident this morning in Oro-Medonte Township, say OPP, who are appealing for witnesses

A youth was approached in an "aggressive manner" by a man in an older vehicle this morning in Oro-Medonte and police are hoping to identify the car and driver.

Just after 9 a.m., officers from Orillia OPP responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Line 1 South.

The vehicle is described as an "older green car."

Police were advised the driver stopped, got out and "started to approach a youth in an aggressive manner," according to an OPP news release.

The driver is described as male, non-white, 30 to 40 years old, about 5 ft. 6 in. tall with a slim build.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, may have dash cam footage or may have home security systems in the area to review it.
