Welcome to the 2024 Holiday Gift Card Auction!

Thursday, November 28 at noon to Tuesday, December 3 at 7:15 p.m

Please READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, particularly the part about credit card authorizations. In short, each time you place a bid, the system places a hold authorization for that amount on your card. When you are outbid, the hold is released. If you bid $50 on ten different items, this means $500 of your available balance will be unavailable until you're outbid. Any winning bids at the end of the auction are captured - meaning your card is charged. We recommend you use a credit card, not a debit card for this auction. A released hold may take several days to reflect on your statement.

Do I have a OrilliaMatters.com account to bid?
You must register for a OrilliaMatters.com user account in order to bid in this auction. If you have registered for a OrilliaMatters.com account previously, such as for the classifieds, please log in and use that account. Registration only takes a few moments. Register or log in here. You must be logged in on OrilliaMatters.com in order to place bids. Registering for an account at the start of the auction will minimize delays in getting set up. Look for the verification email in your inbox, it may be in your spam folder.

What happens if I win?
After the auction closes, it may take us a few days to process the results. If you have won an item, you will receive a confirmation email, which will contain pick up instructions. For any auction related questions, please email [email protected]

Closes in: 5d 0h 21m 34s

About Mariposa Folk Foundation

The Mariposa Folk Festival, Canada’s most iconic music event, has been a cherished tradition since its debut in Orillia in 1961. After years of touring other locations, the festival returned to its hometown in 2000, where it now takes place annually in the stunning lakeside setting of Tudhope Park.

This 3-day family-friendly festival celebrates the rich tapestry of folk art through song, story, dance, and craft. With more than 50 artists performing on multiple stages—including a pub stage and captivating evening main stage performances—Mariposa offers something for everyone. The festival also features special areas for children’s activities, talented artisans, and diverse food vendors, creating a magical and inclusive experience for all ages.

As a member-based, registered charitable arts organization, Mariposa Folk Festival is dedicated to the promotion and preservation of Canadian folk art. Recognized as one of North America’s longest-running folk festivals, Mariposa continues to inspire generations with its commitment to creativity, community, and cultural heritage.
