Young Bradford man dies after contracting COVID-19

The health unit says the man was between 18 and 34 years old

The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit has confirmed the death of a Simcoe County man who contracted COVID-19. 

The health unit confirmed the man was between 18 and 34 years old. According to information on local COVID-19 cases posted to the health unit website, the man was from Bradford West Gwillimbury.

Thirteen Bradford residents have died after contracting COVID-19. Twelve of them were residents at Bradford Valley Care Community who contracted the coronavirus during an outbreak in April. 

In total, 52 residents of Simcoe County - including three from Orillia - have died due to the coronavirus.
