It’s time to work with Mother Nature, not against her.
The upcoming provincial election is just a week away. Do you know who you are voting for? How about voting for the environment and Mother Nature? Think about it.
Check out each party’s environmental policy. Ask each candidate in the riding about important issues and subjects protecting our environment and nature. Presented are some.
What will they do to protect our lakes, rivers, wetlands and watersheds?
Will they stop the environmentally disastrous proposal to destroy Bigwind Lake Provincial Park and completely protect it?
Will they and their party reverse the damage done to the Endangered Species Act and the Environmental Assessment Act, and add more protection?
Will they ban all leg-hold traps, body-gripping traps and snares, for the safety of all?
How will their plans for the area naturally work with Mother Nature, protecting all and not just cement over her?
Will they stop penned hunting?
What will the candidate and their party do to invest in expanding Ontario’s protected areas, including the addition of more and all environmentally protected areas?
Make sure you ask your own personal questions regarding the protection of the environment and nature. Tell them that you are “voting for the environment and Mother Nature.” You have made your decision. Now they can make theirs.
Have fun on election day.
