The Cottage CountryCon annual comic book convention and pop culture event located in the beautiful City of Orillia will take place on Sunday, July 21, 2024 at the Best Western Plus Mariposa Inn and Conference Centre.
The Cottage CountryCon strives to be Ontario’s best and truest comic con featuring fandoms of multiple genres. As longtime fans of comic books, toys, pop culture, cosplay, animation, horror, sci-fi and fantasy, the promoter wanted to bring that style event to the Orillia area.
The show has vendors that cater to a wide spectrum of interests including comic books, magazines, toys, games, movies, television, anime, manga, wrestling, cosplay, artwork, sketches and apparel, plus much more. In addition, a roster of comic industry professionals and fandom-related celebrities are in attendance for attendees to meet and greet. This will be one event not to miss for the whole family, Over $2,500 in door prizes.
Confirmed featured guests and attractions include:
- Fabian Nicieza — co-creator of Deadpool
- Peter Kelamis — voice actor of Dragon Ball
- Dungeons & Dragons tournament
- Local cosplayer and artist groups
- Huge cosplay contest — 4 p.m.
Tickets on sale now — general admission is only $20. All kids under 11 are free. Cosplay, VIP tickets are $50 and platinum tickets are $100. We have a huge cosplay contest for all attendees with amazing prizes. You can purchase online or at the door.
