OPL Summer Games

The Orillia Public Library (OPL) invites people 18 and older to take part in "sporting" events on Friday beginning at 7 p.m. The games include Putt-Putt in the Paperbacks, Fencing in Fiction, Hula-Hooping in the Hallway, and a Dewey Dash.

Orillia Comicon

Comic book and collectible vendors move into ODAS Park on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favourite cosplay costume. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children 12 and under. As part of this event, there will be a night of wrestling in the evening.

Orillia Waterfront Festival

The cardboard boat races and a dog diving contest headline a weekend full of entertainment, food, and vendors. The event begins on Lightfoot Drive on Friday at noon and runs until Sunday at 6 p.m.

Summer's biggest country music festival returns to Burl's Creek this weekend. Performing live are Jason Aldean, Thomas Rhett, Cody Johnson, and more. Limited tickets are still available.

Music in the Park

As the sun sets over Lake Couchiching on Sunday evening, the Newmarket Citizens Band will take the stage at the Rotary Aqua Theatre. The family-friendly concert is free.
