Save the date, Saturday, Sept. 28 from 2 to 4 p.m., to attend a delightful event presented by Pennywise Shop and ACW of St. James’ Anglican Church, 58 Peter St. in Orillia.
Yes, once again you can come to an amazing High Tea in our parish hall.
This one is a little different. Your servers and other visible volunteers will all be dressed in selected fashions from the Pennywise Shop.
If you fall in love with any outfit you will be able to check it out and other fashions in the Pennywise Shop at the church. Additional outfits will also be displayed around the auditorium. You will have time to browse and enjoy a mouth watering tea in great company as well.
The tea features delicious homemade scones accompanied by strawberry jam and clotted cream, as in previous years, along with many other delicious foods, all home made by the Anglican Church Women.
In addition to delicious foods and fashions, there will be a silent auction with great items for sale. It’s a unique way to spend a lovely Saturday afternoon.
Tickets are $25, available at the Church office, the Pennywise Shop or from ACW members. You may reserve seating for you and your friends. Just let us know your need.
